Deep-Dive: Lamba 3

Description

Lamba 3 is exactly what it sounds like: three people dancing together at the same time. It keeps the connection and flow of partner dancing while adding a whole new layer of spatial awareness, timing, and creativity. With one leader and two followers, or two leaders and one follower, the dance becomes a conversation between three bodies rather than two — and new possibilities open. In this workshop we'll cover how to structure the trio, how to navigates and connect with both partners simultaneously, and how to maintain your own connection and responsiveness while sharing the dance. We'll work on the transitions and timing that make Lamba 3 feel smooth and playful rather than chaotic. Suitable for dancers with a solid Lambada foundation.
