Deep-Dive: Zouk Into Lambada

Description

This a two-hour workshop for Zouk dancers who want to explore Lambada without starting from scratch. Lambada and Zouk share the same roots, and much of what you already know translates directly. This workshop is about making that connection explicit — taking the movements, structures, and vocabulary you're comfortable with in Zouk and understanding how they live in Lambada. No new figures. Just a new way of moving through the ones you already have. We'll work on the key differences in timing, body movement, and rhythm that give Lambada its distinct character, and explore how to adapt your existing dancing to fit naturally into the Lambada style. Suitable for Zouk dancers who are curious about Lambada.
