Zouk Deep Dive: Expression & Musicality

Who is this course for? - Those who have a good understanding of all the basic zouk stepping patterns and are looking for more challenges and quality in their dance. What will you learn? A big part of this course will focus on adding your personality to the dance. In the first half of each session, we’ll work on solo techniques that help you develop your own style, which you can then bring into the partner work during the second half. You'll have the chance to dance to different kinds of music, all aimed at strengthening your connection with yourself, your partner, and the beat. Each session will be divided into 45 minutes of solo work followed by 45 minutes of partner practice When and where? This course takes place on 6 Tuesdays at 18:00-19:30 from May 26th 2026. Note: This course requires a foundational understanding of Brazilian Zouk stepping patterns and concepts. If you are brand new to Zouk, we recommend Intro to Zouk.
